Corporate Information

MMI has entered a joint venture with the Horizon Resort Group in Thailand to develop the Montessori Method of Education in Thailand. A company called Modern Montessori International (Thailand) Ltd was formed to refer to this need.

Horizon Resort Group has been successfully managing boutique hotels across Phuket.

The Modern Montessori (MMI) Group has recently been accredited by the prestigious British Accreditation Council (BAC) of the U.K.

BAC is a non-profit organisation established in 1984 to act as the national accrediting body for independent further and higher education. It is independent both of government and of the colleges with which it accredits.

A college which is accredited by BAC undergoes a thorough inspection every five years, with an interim visit after two-three years.

BAC's Council includes nominees of a number of the major bodies concerned with the maintenance of standards in British education, including the Association of Colleges, the British Council, the Council of Validating Universities, Universities UK, the Chartered Institutes, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and UKCOSA.

The British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education is registered in the United Kingdom as a charity (Charities Registration No. 326652) and is a private company limited by guarantee (Registered in England No. 1828990)

MMI Worldwide
The Modern Montessori International Group today has 40 centres worldwide. Its principal office is based in the United Kingdom, with overseas offices in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand.
