MMI Pre-school Centres Programmes

MMI CENTRE'S PROGRAMMES

MMI programmes can be grouped under Childcare/Kindergarten programme and Enrichment programmes. Montessori Childcare/ Kindergarten programmes cover Practical Life Exercises, Sensorial Training, Montessori Language, Montessori Mathematics and Cultural subjects. Programmes like Computer, Field Trips, Creative Art, Music and Movement and Physical Education are added on to provide a wholesome education.

Montessori enrichment programmes are lessons created specially to address certain needs.

CHILDCARE PROGRAMMES

Full-day programme
Children will attend classes from Mondays to Fridays (7.00 am to 7.00 pm). The day is divided into two hours of self-directed play, one hour of group activity, half hour of outdoor play and also lunch, nap, tea break, music experience, art & craft and other activities.

Morning programme

Children will attend classes from (Mondays - Saturdays) 7.00 am to 1 pm. The activities are focused on self-directed play, group activities and outdoor play.

Afternoon programme
Children will attend classes from (Mondays - Fridays) 2.00 pm to 7 pm. Activities will be divided between self-directed play, group activities and outdoor play.

Flexi-care
Children will attend classes on pre-determined days. Activities will be tailored for each child.

Emergency care
For parents who need to send their children to the centre in short notice.

		ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMES

		• Montessori Language A multi-sensory approach that combines phonics, stories and language experiences to bring meaning to the learning of reading and writing in our system. Normally taught during weekends. • Montessori Phonics An activity-based programme that allows your child to have hands-on experiences in learning mathematical concepts. Normally taught during weekends. • Montessori Playgroup Montessori activities for children between 18 months to 2½ years old. Weekdays & weekends. • Montessori Workgroup Montessori activities for children aged 2½ years onwards. Weekdays & weekends. • Accelerated Montessori Reading and Maths Programme Specialised programme for children between 4 and 8 years old who have problems with language and math concepts. • Speech & Drama for children who want to develop ability in expressions. • Holiday Programmes Activities created for children during school holidays.
