A little English, in your own voice

You don’t need perfect English.

Listen once, then make it your own. The conversation matters more than the accent.

01 / Shadow play

“Look at the shadow! What happens when you move your hand?”

Shadow · Move · Big · Small

Pronunciation & a little response

LOOK at the SHAD-ow. What HAP-pens when you MOVE your HAND?

Point, move your hand, or say “Big!” and “Small!” together.

Pause and follow the child’s idea. A gesture is an answer too.

02 / Building together

“What shall we build together? Let’s try putting this on top.”

Build · Top · Inside · Tall

Pronunciation & a little response

What shall we BUILD to-GETH-er? Let’s TRY putting this on TOP.

Stack large boxes. Invent a house or a boat and show what goes inside.

Let a wobbly tower be a chance to try another idea.

03 / Nature noticing

“I notice a green leaf. Can you find something soft or rough?”

Leaf · Soft · Rough · Same

Pronunciation & a little response

I NO-tice a GREEN LEAF. Can you FIND something SOFT or ROUGH?

Touch a safe leaf with an adult. Point to two textures or draw what you notice.

Change “I” to your family’s familiar way of speaking. Avoid unknown plants.

04 / Story time

“What do you think happens next? Would you change the ending?”

First · Next · Wonder · Again

Pronunciation & a little response

What do you THINK happens NEXT? Would you CHANGE the END-ing?

Draw an ending, act with a toy, or tell a new version in your home language.

There is no single right ending. Listen before adding your own idea.

A thought for grown-ups

Ask once, wait, and notice together. Pointing counts as a response.

2-minute setup · Around 15 minutes of play

Gather

A piece of cardboard, two cushions and a large toy.

  3. Change one thing and try again. Tell the rescue story.
“How could we help the toy get across?”

A thought for grown-ups

If it bends, wonder together. Avoid fixing it before your child has a turn.

Stay safe: For toys only. Never let a child climb, stand or walk on the bridge. Build at floor level; an adult stays close.

Our next chapter, shaped by families

Little playgroups.
A whole country of possibility.

Our vision reaches every province in Thailand: local groups of 10–12 children with their parents, connected by English-led play. A place for children to learn, connect and grow — and for grown-ups to enjoy the journey together.

What does MMi stand for?

Mindful Minds International. Mindful means care and attention; Minds celebrates curiosity; International reflects an open-minded outlook and English-led learning. Small wonders. Big beginnings.

What exactly does MMi offer?

MMi is an English learning and family community platform. Our planned first pilot is a 12-week, parent-supported early-learning programme for ages 3–6: two short optional online circles each week, three offline activity invitations, parent guides and individual feedback. We are welcoming enquiries; dates, fees, staffing and places are confirmed in writing before enrolment.

Is this my child’s main education?

No. MMi is complementary early education, designed to sit alongside preschool, home education and everyday family life. Choose activities that fit your child’s existing education and energy. Live attendance is optional, with offline alternatives. The programme does not by itself establish school registration, satisfy compulsory-schooling requirements or award an accredited qualification.

How much screen time is involved?

The planned circles are around 15–20 minutes for ages 3–4 and 20–25 minutes for ages 4–6, twice weekly. Children may take a break or leave earlier. These are programme design choices, not medical screen-time limits. Consider all media use, movement, sleep and your child’s needs together.

Does a grown-up need to stay?

Yes. A responsible adult must remain available throughout online sessions and supervise activities and movement at home. We provide guidance; we cannot provide physical childcare remotely.

What language is used?

Teaching is in English, with Thai and English parent guides. Your home language is welcome. Children may respond by speaking, pointing, drawing or moving; fluent English is not a starting requirement.

What if our schedule, connection or budget is difficult?

Tell us what would help. Offline activity cards and teacher-created recaps make live attendance optional. Use everyday household materials; no special kit or child-owned device is required. Fees, support options and time slots are discussed before you decide.

Will families meet in person?

Our vision is a community in every province and, over time, parent-child playgroups in every tambon. Proposed groups bring 10–12 children together with their parents for English-led play. We are gathering interest; no local groups or events are operating yet. Venues, organisers, costs and any insurance must be confirmed separately. Participation stays optional.

Is accident insurance included?

Not currently. We are exploring suitable cover for the virtual programme and future gatherings. No insurance benefit is included unless the insurer, coverage, exclusions and effective dates are confirmed to your family in writing.

Is MMi accredited or affiliated with another MMI school?

No government recognition, accreditation or affiliation with another MMI organisation is claimed for this virtual programme. Our new Mindful Minds International identity does not claim the history or credentials of Modern Montessori International.

What do we need, and when can we start?

An adult-controlled phone or computer, sound and a connection for live circles, plus safe everyday materials. Camera-off and low-bandwidth options can be discussed. Enquire for confirmed fees, dates and arrangements; there is no payment or automatic enrolment through this website.

Every big adventure starts with a hello.
